Raised in the Bottoms of Tibbee, Mississippi, he draws from deep Southern roots and decades of storytelling. With influences like Hank Williams (Sr. & Jr.), Willie Nelson, Bill Monroe, Dylan, Johnny Cash, Tom Petty, and the Grateful Dead; Crookneck’s music fuses Rock, Bluegrass, Country, and Blues into his self-penned genre Appalachian Swamp Rock.
His current projects include:
"Lookin' For Santa Claus" recorded in Nashville, and released as a single in November 2025.
His new, North Carolina based 5-piece band, The Crookneck Coalition.
