Raised in the Bottoms of Tibbee, Mississippi, he draws from deep Southern roots and decades of storytelling. With influences like Hank Williams (Sr. & Jr.), Willie Nelson, Bill Monroe, Dylan, Johnny Cash, Tom Petty, and the Grateful Dead; Crookneck’s music fuses Rock, Bluegrass, Country, and Blues into his self-penned genre Appalachian Swamp Rock. His current projects include a Christmas song he recorded in Nashville, released as a single in November 2025 and the album CrookNaked to be released summer of 2026 with members of
